Success in Business and Academics has a Price Tag. To succeed, you must be ready to pay the price of success. In life some will succeed while others will suck seeds“.

Success requires some processes; There is no glory without story and no product without process. If you think the price of success is too high, maybe you should try the cost of failure.

In my stay on planet Earth, I have discovered that even laziness is expensive. Success is not only by confession; it is by “war-fession”.

Life doesn’t always give you what you deserve but what you demand. We live in a world where it doesn’t get to your turn until you decide to make a U-turn.

If you must succeed in life, business or academics, then:

  • Don’t Counsel what you should cancel.
  • Do not Tolerate what will eliminate you.
  • Never Pet what is supposed to be a pest.
  • Be a productive thinker.
  • Don’t Please everybody.
  • Never Choose laziness over hard-work.

The Price Of Academic and Business Success

I have never seen where a young man walks into the supermarket and shop without paying. You must be ready to pay the equivalent price for your success. “Little price equals little success”. The prices are:

1. Late Night Sleep:

The greatest price of success is hard work. You don’t sleep when others are sleeping. People feel that you woke up successful; not knowing that you were actually not sleeping.

You must be ready to wake up at mid night to invest in your passion. A closed eyes is a closed destiny. See what your competitors don’t see.

Benjamin Franklin made a statement,

Sloth makes all things difficult, but industry all easy; and he that riseth late must trot all day, and shall scarce overtake his business at night; while laziness travels so slowly, that poverty soon overtakes him.

When you work 10 times smarter than your competitors, you get ten times better results than they do.

2. Wake Up Early:

You might be asking, how can one sleep very late and wake up early? This is the price of success. Until your passion makes you mad, you cannot make much impart.

You need to have some level of insanity and abnormality. If you are too gentle, you cannot settle. Sleeping the way others sleep is to get the same result with them. Planning your days at night is a price you must pay.

If you know what you are pursuing and what is pursuing you, then you will know how to run.

One of the prices of success is simply not having the same sleeping pattern as others. Calculate when to sleep and solve when to wake up.

3. Friends Will Leave You:

On your journey to success, you will loose friends, even relatives. But do not be discouraged. It is a price you have to pay.  You are the one putting on the shoes, so, don’t let people tell you how it is paining you.

People will misunderstand and even leave you because they will feel you are doing too much. They will ask questions like, “are you the only student in this school?”, “are you the first person to do this business?”.

However, it is worth it. When you move with the crowd, you may miss the cloud.

Don’t wait for friends; Barack Obama said,

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

Don’t let the opinion of others become your reality. Look for what creates the desired result in your life and stick to it.

4. People Will Think You Are Mad:

People will say all sort of things about you. They will say that you have lost your sanity. This is because you are drunk in passion. Yes, If your passion doesn’t make you mad, you cannot make impart.

In fact, it is abnormal to be normal. When they say all manner of things about you, do not reply. Just say in your mind “this is the price I must pay now”.

Vaibhav Shah said something,

Whenever you see a successful person, you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them.

5. Many Persons Will Judge You:

In life, people will keep talking. They will talk while you were making sacrifices to success. They will also question your success when everything gets fine.

They will say you bribed your way out, some will say you have stained your hands. You will keep going through a lot before and even after you start experiencing success.

So many persons will misunderstand you. They are shocked, “why the sudden success?”. Some will even say that you have joined cult, so many talks.

People may not want to see you, your health may be affect, but it always pays. The reward is worth the price.

Mike Gafka said,

To be successful, you must accept all challenges that come your way. You can’t just accept the ones you like.”

What Success Demands….

  1.  You should not Show any Fear
  2. Make No Excuses
  3. Give Up Something Good to Get Something Better
  4. Success Demands You Make Difficult Choices
  5. Success Requires Sacrifice
  6. Eliminate Distracting Activities
  7. Paying the Price in Full (As shown above)
  8. There Are No Shortcuts

Success requires some process. There is no glory without story and no product without process. Get ready to pay the price of success.
